Valerie is the daughter of Henry and Lucille and has one younger brother, Erik. Valerie grew up in West Covina. She loves music, concerts, and going to the movies. Valerie also loves watching TV and playing trivia games with Michael (which she always wins). Valerie always looks forward to taking trips with Michael such as Maui, Las Vegas, Santa Barbabra, Lake Tahoe, Disneyland etc. where they have so much fun together. Currently Valerie and Michael just love showering their new puppy Bentley with lots of love and attention.

Michael is the Son of Larry and Betty. He has three other siblings, David, Lisa and Bobby. Michael grew up in La Mirada and graduated college at Cal State Fullerton. Michael loves to attend Dodger, Laker, and Clipper games with Valerie. Michael enjoys going out to eat for one of their favorite foods, sushi. Michael and Valerie make such a great couple because they enjoy all the same things such as traveling, sports, movies and just experiencing new things. They cannot wait until their honeymoon in Oahu.

Valerie and Michael met at Brea 330, a restaurant/bar in Brea. Valerie was out with her friends, Candace and Rose, celebrating her birthday. Michael and a friend struck up conversation with Valerie and her friends. Valerie found the 'tall guy' cute and Michael found Valerie very attractive. Little did they know that the stars had it in for them that night for their paths had crossed earlier in the evening at Bobby McGee's. Valerie and her friends left that bar to go to Brea 330 and Michael and his friends were not allowed into Bobby McGee's for wearing sneakers. They may have walked right passed each other without even knowing. Valerie and Michael had instant chemistry and great conversation when they met. They found they had many things in common including sharing the same favorite movies (too many to list). Valerie looked forward to receive a phone call from Michael (likely in 3 days). Michael couldn't wait to call her and called the next day early in the afternoon. They made a date for the next day at Lucky Strike and have not been apart ever since.

Michael planned a vacation with Valerie to Lake Tahoe. He organized a week long extravaganza of relaxation, adventure and fun. They went horseback riding, hiking, sightseeing, enjoyed a dinner cruise on the lake, went white water rafting, and gambled at the casinos. Michael proposed to Valerie in a hot air balloon over Lake Tahoe. Valerie had no idea Michael had this planned. Thousands of feet in the air, overlooking the beautiful scenery Lake Tahoe has to offer Michael popped the question and of course Valerie said YES! They got to enjoy the rest of their vacation in Lake Tahoe as a newly engaged couple...HOW ROMANTIC!!
